Job Summary

Hire Resolve's client is in the Civil Engineering industry, and they are currently seeking a talented and motivated Graduate Civil & Structural Engineer to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. They are looking for a graduate structural engineer with 1 - 5 years' experience in structural design, drafting and detailing.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior engineers with the design and analysis of civil and structural engineering projects
• Conduct research and prepare engineering calculations and drawings
• Assist with project management tasks, including cost estimation and scheduling
• Collaborate with other engineers and team members to ensure project success

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles. Experience in reinforced concrete, steel and masonry design will be advantageous
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Probar 2D, Revit and Prokon design packages, such as Sumo and Frame
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Motivated and eager to learn and grow in the field of civil and structural engineering
• A minimum of a year experience is required, but not more than 5 years'
• Must be proficient in Word and Excel and must have own transport.
