I am seeking a motivated Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join my client's continuous production plant. This is an excellent opportunity for a BSc, BEng graduate in Mechanical Engineering and or an individual with 3-5 years of relevant experience. The role is designed to develop the successful person into a fully-fledged Mechanical Engineer through their succession planning program within 3 to 5 years.Key Responsibilities:Engage in all aspects of mechanical engineering at a continuous production plant.Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance on static production machines, equipment, injection molding, and blower machines.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives at the plant.Manage a team of 15 to 20 artisans and aides.Required Minimum Qualifications/Experience:Minimum of a BSc, BEng, degree in Mechanical Engineering.Open to graduates or individuals with 3-5 years of experience or more.Experience in a static machine manufacturing environment (FMCG experience will not be considered).Proficiency in hydraulics and pneumatics.Willingness to work hands-on and be continuously present on the shop floor/workshop.Our client operates on a 3-shift system, but the candidate will work day shifts.Must reside within a 30-minute reach from the site to assist with any plant emergencies.
