The Fresh Produce Exporters Forum (FPEF) is the industry body representing the fresh produce exporters of South Africa. The FPEF employs a number of initiatives to bring about transformation in the fresh fruit export industry. The FPEF Graduate Internship Programme places high caliber graduates in junior commercial, logistics and technical (post-harvest quality management) roles at various South African fruit export companies for one year, potentially leading to long-term career opportunities. The aim of this programme is to integrate a growing group of talented black individuals into the commercial heart of the industry. This is your opportunity to enter the dynamic, fast-growing and competitive world of international fruit sales and marketing!One of the FPEF members, is an international software and systems company, delivers working Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and real automation to hundreds of satisfied Fresh Produce companies around the world. They are now hiring Interns for their Services Consultant role. This role aims to provide holistic customer champion services to clients, focusing on day-to-day support queries, strategic workflow advisory, system champion tasks such as staging of development and implementation work as well as facilitating reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) requirements of the client. Reporting to the Team Lead: Product Specialists.Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance to clients on system/workflow best practices.
  • Assist staff with troubleshooting client-specific logs.
  • Handle and escalate customer requests, complaints and feedback and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure the resolution of issues in a timely manner.
  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Follow communication procedures. guidelines and policies outlined by the company.
  • Accurately translate client requirements into usable specifications for the development team, by mapping out applicable business processes to be absorbed into the systems.
  • Ensure that support logs are accurate and thoroughly documented
  • Instill a sense of confidence in clients that a high level of service will always be delivered
  • Support the team leader to ensure that all log inquiries/requests are followed up and that the company produces a high-quality of service delivery
  • Take responsibility for the timely communication, to the team lead, of any risks and issues as they develop
Requirements and Skills
  • Strong technology inclination.

  • Ability to work accurately and be detailed orientated.
  • Must thrive in a team environment and have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent task and time management skills.

  • SA citizen
  • BEE candidate
  • Under 30 years of age.
Experience
  • Matric.
  • One-year IT qualification and/or business qualification
  • A background in the fruit industry is a plus
