Job SummaryJob Title: Graduate TraineeLocation:Kwazulu, Natal, DurbanJob Type:Permanent, Full-TimePrimary Industry:Environmental and WasteSecondary Industry:Scientific and PharmaceuticalsJob Duties:

  • Participate in training programmes to develop knowledge and skills in the environmental and waste management sector
  • Assist in research projects related to scientific and pharmaceutical waste disposal
  • Support senior team members in day-to-day operations and project management tasks
  • Conduct data analysis and prepare reports on environmental impact assessments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable waste management practises
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field
  • Excellent academic record with a strong focus on environmental studies
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Education:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related fieldExperience:No prior experience required, as this is an entry-level position for recent graduatesKnowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of environmental regulations and waste management practises
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Environmental Management or related field
  • Previous internship or work experience in the environmental or scientific sector
  • Knowledge of sustainable development principles
