To assist with writing persuasive proposals and managing the grant application process from start to finish

Key performance areas:
Ensure proposals are well-organized, coherent, and address all required components and variables in the context of the study
Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to gather necessary information for proposals
Customise proposals to align with the goals and priorities of both the funding organization and our organization
Manage the entire grant application process, including drafting, editing, and submitting proposals in a timely manner
Coordinate with finance and administrative staff to gather financial documents and ensure budgetary accuracy in proposals
Track and monitor the status of submitted proposals and follow up as needed.
Assist in preparing narrative/funding/other progress reports and updates for grantors, as required.
Maintain comprehensive records of all grant applications, reports, and correspondence
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with funding organisations and program officers

Represent the organisation professionally in meetings, conferences, and networking events related to grant funding
Required minimum education and training:
Master's Degree, preferably in a health or natural sciences discipline
Required minimum work experience:
Minimum of 5 years' experience
Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities:
Strong writing abilities
Attention to detail
A deep understanding of grant funding mechanisms across various sectors
Ability to interpret complex information and translate it into compelling proposals
Must be Knowledgeable on budget and financial reports for grant applications purposes
Must have Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Proficiency in using grant research databases, grant management pre-award systems, online resources, and Microsoft Office Suite
