Job Summary: The Graphic Designer and Marketing Assistant/Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing department by creating visually appealing and effective design materials, as well as assisting with various marketing tasks and administrative duties. This role requires a proactive and creative individual who can balance the demands of design and marketing in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Design
Create visually appealing graphic design materials for both print and digital environments.
Ensure all design materials align with the company's branding guidelines and messaging.
Collaborate with the marketing team (local and global) to develop design concepts and ideas for various marketing campaigns.
Modify and update existing design materials as needed.
Stay updated with design trends and incorporate them into projects to maintain a fresh and modern look.
Marketing Assistance
Assist in the development and execution of marketing collateral, campaigns, promotions and initiatives.
Assist with the coordination of trade shows and exhibitions, including logistics and materials preparation.
Support the management of digital marketing channels, such as social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
Perform market research and analysis to identify trends, competitors and customer preferences.
Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.
Organise and maintain marketing collateral, including marketing and intranet assets.
Provide general administrative support to the marketing team as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Traditional/Digital Marketing or a related field.
Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing creativity and a high level of attention to detail.
Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc).
Basic knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, as well as video editing, is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask, manage priorities and work under tight deadlines.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
