Job Description
A dynamic Fashion Retailer has a vacancy for an experienced, creative Fashion Industry Graphic Designer, experienced in originating fashion placement and textile prints. A team player, who copes well under pressure with the ability to execute a large volume of artwork across various Brands. Experience in Mens and Boyswear a definite advantage.Responsibilities
- Emphasis on computer design for Fashion t-shirt graphics, all over prints, branding, etc.
- Ability to positively influence Buyers and various stakeholders in decisions.
- Research various graphic artworks on the Internet as well as make use of and introduce other related sources in order to present the Buyer with a number of initial graphic concepts.
- Demonstrates high degree of innovation in design work on fashion graphics.
- Building relationships with relevant Buyers in order to execute a detailed graphic design brief.
Experience:
Additional: Free hand drawing design skill would be an advantage. Experience in Men's and Boys graphics design. Good understanding of computer packages and a quick learner on new software. Understanding of print types (tile prints/placement/repeat/screen/digital, etc) and colour separations. Position located in Cape Town.
