Graphic Designer
Job Description
The incumbent will be required to:
xefx82xb7 Design and layout of publications both electronic and print.
xefx82xb7 Conceptualisation and design of advertisements and other marketing material.
xefx82xb7 Design, publish and distribute emailers, invitations, and newsletters (electronic and print)
xefx82xb7 Design marketing and event materials such as banners, posters, billboards, signage, event and exhibition stands etc.
xefx82xb7 Brainstorm marketing ideas with Corporate Communications team.
xefx82xb7 Co-manage the production process from start to finish.
xefx82xb7 Check all artwork is in line with the CID manual.
xefx82xb7 Choose appropriate images for layouts.
xefx82xb7 Retouch images.Qualifications:
xefx82xb7 A three-year diploma or equivalent qualification in graphic design.
xefx82xb7 At least five years of experience in a graphic design environment
Skills required:
xefx82xb7 Must be proficient in the use of the latest Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoShop for illustration, desktop publishing and image editing.
The incumbent must demonstrate their creative abilities while able to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Samples of their previous work (portfolio) are required to enable the team to determine the candidates suitability.
