We have an opportunity for a mid/senior level Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team. The purpose of this role is to design graphics across all marketing collateral, including but not limited to the website, social media, POS, leaflets, videos, etc. Develop and proactively initiate creative ideas, concepts, and projects, choosing the appropriate media and style and executing with technical excellence and a professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines.DUTIES

  • Create mockups & impressions of various products.
  • Conceptualise and roll out artwork for all platforms including but not limited to POS, leaflets, OOH, social and web elements, etc.
  • Design & DTP of all elements related to a range of the brand.
  • Prepare artwork for print according to printer specifications.
  • Complete projects promptly while prioritising multiple projects across multiple titles at uncompromising quality and creativity.
  • Support strategic and creative ways of bringing a story to life through design.
  • Understand how design, copy, and photography are part of the same customer experience.
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, not limited to but including layout, colour, contrast, typography, scale, and composition.
  • Design collateral with a broad range of styles and quickly adapt to the brand's ID.
  • Work within the brand CI and maintain the required brand elements while producing innovative, effective designs.
  • Assist with graphic design across all formats (brand, digital, print, outdoor, press, POS, events, etc.)
  • Responsible for originating creative digital graphic designs and concepts that support client briefs.
  • Generate and create crafted, visually pleasing, and highly conceptual designs under pressure and at a fast pace.
  • Create and edit videos and video formats.
  • Work in collaboration with the broader Marketing team as well as broader business stakeholders to ensure that the requirements of the briefs are met promptly.
  • Good understanding of social media and social media marketing.
  • Consult with senior team members for feedback on the quality of their own work.
  • Consider recommendations of team members' suggestions, on improving design dilemmas.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential
  • 4 - 5 years experience as a Graphic Designer/ Conceptual DTP artist in advertising, retail, or QSR.
  • Degree in graphic design/multimedia design.
  • Experience with digital design work.
  • Experience with the best practices required for design.
  • Ability to creatively leverage online and social media channels.
  • Advanced skill set in Adobe applications:
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • After Effects
  • Provide a portfolio showcasing all relevant design work that upholds the standard of excellence that Hungry Lion is seeking.
Desirable
  • Videography skills.
  • Photography skills.
  • Knowledge of Premiere Pro and 3D
