Graphics Designer
Job Description
Job Summary Minimum Requirements:Matric + Diploma in Graphic Design and / or Media
2+ years experience as a Graphic Designer
Freehand, Illustrator and Photoshop is essential
Basic Microsoft / Mac programs essential
Valid license is a must
Own transport - not negotiableDuties / Responsibilities:Under the guidance of the Sales, NPD and Marketing Manager, the Graphics Designer will be expected to manage their portfolio in the graphics department including:
Project time management and communication
Manage all allocated artworks and related documentation prior submitting to client
Involvement in the entire new product development process to ensure correct execution
Technical design:
Regeneration of customer artwork
Preparation of all NPD process related documentation
Preparation of positives
Admin and technical documentation:
Preparation of process related documentation for QA, Health and Safety, Logistics and Production
Creative design:
New design concepts for clients, marketing material and social media
Ensuring the maintenance of all Graphics Department Machinery
Ad hoc duties, as required including, but not limited to:
Production sample sign-offsPersonal Attributes:Attention to detail/accuracy
Management skills
Technically inclined
Positive, mature, self-starter, neat
Honest, responsible, professional
