ONE Security Group, based in the Winelands, is seeking a Group Accountant. The minimum qualification is a NQF 6 or a Degree. You should be a team player, enthusiastic, not
a clock watcher, and detail-oriented. You should ideally reside in Paarl, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, or surrounding areas (Winelands). You should have your own reliable transport. Ideally, you should come from a security environment although not essential.

Responsibilities:

-Obtain primary financial data for accounting records

-Preparing Annual Financial Statements

-Bring all financial accounts to Audit level on a monthly basis

-Conduct and assist the Auditors with year-end Audits

-Follow up on all payments from Creditors

-Provide monthly financials to the CEO

-Calculate and submit the PAYE, VAT returns

-Calculate monthly salaries

-Control leave pay of staff

-Do monthly stock takes

-Compute and record numerical data on a daily basis

-Forward a daily Aged Analyses of Aged Receivables to the CEO

-Check the accuracy of business transactions

-Forward proof of payments to Creditors

Qualifications:

-NQF 6 or Degree

-Ability to prioritize and multitask

-Strong organizational skills

-Deadline and detail-oriented
