You, the successful candidate, will be responsible, yet not limited to the following duties:
Conduct daily bank reconciliations including all current and call accounts as well as credit cards
Be responsible for maintenance and loading of new suppliers onto the Navision accounting system as well as the banking platform
Maintain the fixed asset schedule including disposals and acquisitions of new assets together with running the monthly depreciation journal
Maintain the prepayments register on a daily basis and posting of the prepayments journals during the month
Monthly reconciliation of VAT balances and preparation of the VAT workings to support the VAT201 submission
Completion of all VAT queries raised by the reviewer
VAT consolidation of amounts paid in the VAT control account
Assisting the Financial Manager with monthly recording of actual revenue, raising of revenue accruals and deferralxe2x80x99s and forecasting of revenue
IFRS 15 revenue accounting assessments
Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review by the Financial Manager
Assisting with the month end process
Assisting with the collation and provision of information for the year-end audit processSkills & Experience:
3+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar role
Industry experience within an advertising agency would be advantageous
Must have good working knowledge of IFRS and VAT Act
Good written and communication skills
Advanced Excel
Strong attention to detailQualification:
Relevant Accounting or Finance Degree
