:Job Purpose:The role works with all Operating units, Financial Controllers and Finance Managers and the extended finance teams. Work with Operating Units in preparing the statutory & management reports of the Group with the objective of providing shareholders, management & other stakeholders accurate financial information (prepared in accordance with applicable statutory regulations & rules) and value-added analysis for the purpose of informed decision making.Dimensions:Number of Countries: 28Reports to: Head of Group Accounting & ReportingRequirements:1. Financial Reporting

• Timely and accurate completion and submission of consolidated results
• Monthly and quarterly reporting of consolidated results
• Collaboration with FPA Team to generate accurate and insightful reports, including cost packs
• Compilation of monthly management and statutory packs
• Supports Operating Units in accurate and timely reporting

2. Financial Close process

• Co-ordinates a quality close across operating units ensuring proactive and on time close
• Submission of management and statutory trial balances and related data
• Validate the accuracy and completeness of accounts

3. Annual Financial Statements (AFS)

• Assist with disclosure information for the various group companies
• Ensure consistency across AFS, with focus being on alignment of accounting policies
• Assist with review of AFS

4. Project delivery across central teams and operating units

• Supports key projects impacting the close process

5. Coaching and mentoring staffKey Challenges:

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experiences:Essential

• ACCA / CA(SA) / BCom Accounting or equivalent

• 3-5 years of experience in a Finance reporting function with 5 years' experience in a managerial role within Finance functions
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Experience in technical financial accounting role with exposure to complex IFRS financial accounting issues
• Experience in performing consolidations in large complex multi-national group
• Proven track record of working effectively in an SAP environment

Desirable (if required)

• Downstream Oil and Gas experience
• French
