Job Description

A leader within the retail industry is looking for a Chartered Accountant who has worked in a JSE environment to join their team of professionals. This exciting company is a proudly South Africa and has grown into an industry leader within the retail industry.The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• External group reporting process
• Completion of the full suite of financial publications, with timeous submission to the JSE and shareholders
• All external financial publications
• Statutory annual financial statements of all entities within the Group
• Statutory annual financial statements with regulatory requirements
• Group Financial Technical champion
• Calculation and proposal of dividend declarations
• Control and maintain all journals
• General ledger account
• Inter-group balances and transactions
• Profit forecasts for all provisional tax payments
• Keep up to date with IFRS standards

Education:

• CA(SA)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 2 to 4 years' experience within a JSE listed environment
