Attention All Group Accountants!Our Cape Town based client is seeking a Group Accountant to join their team.Priding themselves on delivering exceptional service to their clients, from personal concierge assistance to tailored lifestyle solutions. Submit your CV toDuties:

• Lead and manage a local team of accountants.
• Ensure quality of key financial controls and governance.
• Produce month-end financial ledgers to time, liaising with local accountants and uploading accurate data for relevant entities.
• Ensure month-end review of detailed balance sheet and sub-ledgers, payroll and tax reconciliations - drive consistency in approach and format.
• Oversight of monthly closure of bank, including reconciliations (and members) and revaluations.
• Ensuring accountants maintain detailed subsidiary ledgers - asset registers and monthly accounting of depreciation, debtors, creditors, members accounts.
• Monitoring of aged debtors and creditors.
• Key contact for local and group audits and liaising with auditors.
• Ensuring accountants maintain the cashbooks and cashflows for business entities.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting
• BCom Honours
• CA(SA) / SAIPA / CIMA Qualified / AGA(SA)

Experience:

• Completed SAICA Articles.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central General is a must.
• Must have at least 2 years of management experience.
• Experience within shared services or finance operations management in a global organisation is beneficial.
• Must have experience in creating and maintaining robust controls within centralised finance operations.
