This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and financial strategy alignment across the group.As a key member of the leadership team, you will manage the operational accounting, budgeting, and compliance functions while optimizing financial processes to support our continued growth.Location: RoodepoortKey ResponsibilitiesOperational Accounting & ComplianceOversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assetsEnsure entity-specific and consolidated financial reporting accuracyMaintain strong internal controls, including asset tracking for loaned equipmentEnsure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and company financial policiesFinancial Management & Team LeadershipLead and develop finance teams across five companiesStandardize financial procedures and processesOversee audits, tax filings, and compliance mattersManage cash flow, working capital, and debtors effectivelyFinancial Planning & Strategic SupportPrepare monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and variance reportsProvide financial insight to support pricing, cost control, and capital investmentsIdentify financial risks and opportunities, enhancing profitabilitySupport the CFO with strategic financial planning and business expansionAsset Control & Equipment Loan ManagementEnsure accurate tracking and financial control of loaned equipment under supply agreementsCollaborate with legal and sales teams to support contract structuringMonitor depreciation and asset utilizationQualifications & SkillsBachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CA(SA), CIMA preferred)7+ years of experience in accounting/finance, including 3+ years in a managerial roleIndustry experience in manufacturing, food processing, or chemicals is a strong advantageStrong knowledge of cost accounting, capital asset tracking, and IFRS complianceProficiency in ERP systems (preferably Business Central 365, SAP, or Sage) and advanced Excel skillsAnalytical mindset, strong leadership, and excellent communication skillsReporting StructureReports to: CFO / Group Financial DirectorManages: Centralized finance and accounting team across five group entitiesWhy Join Us?Be part of a dynamic, growing industrial groupWork in a strategic role with both operational influence and high-level visibilityLead a centralized, cross-company finance teamContribute directly to group profitability and decision-makingReady to take charge of group-wide financial operations?Submit your application, including a CV and cover letter
