Job Description
Blue chip, high end products concern is looking for a Group Finance Manager. CA(SA) is advantageous, proven experience in a similar role (including consolidations) is essential.A strong focus of the role is xe2x80x9cconsolidatingxe2x80x9d data and keeping things together at a group level
This role is to assist in ensuring the oversight of processes and systems, compliance and reporting.KPA'S would include but not be limited to:
Compliance
- Ensure full adherence to companies act requirements including but not limited to board resolutions, CIPC updated etc.
- Adherence to IFRS and completion of the audit and financial statements in line with requirements.
- Compliance to laws and regulations related to the role
- Completion of VAT, IT, and all other 3rd party related returns and submissions
- Completion of end to end process for entities in the group
- Preparation of consolidated management accounts
- Engage with suppliers on a regular basis
- Assist with managing the IT shared services team to improve service delivery
- Review, update and change current policies to adopt best practice
- Automation of management accounts including consolidation of the groupxe2x80x99s management accounts
- Support entities in the group with assistance as required (reporting, reconciliations etc.)
Results driven individual is highly essentialIdeal background:
- Finance management experience
- Syspro knowledge (not mandatory)
- Tax and eFiling knowledge/experience
CA(SA) advantageous
