Our client is looking to permanently add a Group Financial Accountant CA(SA) to their finance team near Bedfordview. The main focus of this role is to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective management of group consolidations, audits, and financial processes.Duties:

• Assist in preparing consolidated financial presentations for executive and board meetings.
• Support external audits, ensuring smooth processes from planning to finalization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and growth.
• Calculate, reconcile, and file tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Compile and submit group reporting templates and required documentation.
• Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and prepare financial reporting packages.
• Prepare and submit consolidated financial reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Analyse divisional management accounts for accuracy and reasonability.
• Oversee the month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.

Qualifications & skills:

• CA(SA) qualification is required.
• Industry experience in Manufacturing, Construction, Mining, or Engineering is highly preferred.
• Proven experience with group consolidations, IFRS reporting, and drafting of financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of Income Tax Regulations and Compliance.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond in handling projects and meeting deadlines.
