Experienced Financial Manager sought to fill a 6-month contract position for a landlord focussing on a booming real estate sector! Immediate start required!With over 19 years of experience in the real estate sector, our client specializes in acquiring, redeveloping, and managing residential and student accommodation properties. With a rapidly expanding portfolio, they are a dynamic force in the real estate industry. Currently facing a pivotal moment in their financial year, they are seeking a skilled Group Financial Manager to join their team at the Sandton Head Office.In this role, you'll be at the helm of our financial team, guiding them through essential tasks such as group consolidations, monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, audits, VAT submissions, forecasting, cash flow management and more. Collaboration with company partners and stakeholders will be crucial as you address inquiries and transactions with precision and efficiency.We're looking for someone, who is immediately available, with at least 5 years of experience in a Finance Manager role, coupled with a relevant tertiary qualification. In an ideal world you would have had some exposure to the property industry, but as a minimum you would have worked in a professional investment environment. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential, and familiarity with MDA and Pastel systems is a definite plus. Your strong analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively will be vital in this role, as you'll be part of a small, close-knit team where collaboration is key.
