Group Financial Manager

The purpose of this role will be to lead the finance function on a group level and act as the CEO's right-hand when it comes to anything finance, ensuring compliance and that the business continually improves and has the information required to make sound business decisions, as a result of the insightful analysis, reporting and guidance provided.
Typical duties will include, but are not limited to, the full financial management function of legal entities, legal agreements, foreign currencies, stock control and management, group consolidations and financial modeling for new business ventures.
The successful incumbent will possess a strong EQ and have strong financial modeling skills. The environment requires a flexible person with an innovative mindset and a passion for finance, process improvement and analytics in order to ensure sound decision-making and profitability growth.
Education:
- Qualified CA(SA)
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
- 4 to 5 years post articles experience within a technical / project-based environment
- Engineering or technical industry experience essential
- Strong financial modeling skills - ESSENTIAL
- Strong consolidations experience
- Experience working on Sage One
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Financial and business acumen
- Strong personality
- Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
- Flexible and open-minded
- Team player
