• Responsibility for the IFRS and other control improvement projects.
• Monitors and oversees the consolidated credit control function, people leader role.
• Ensure compliance with the policies and procedures.
• Provide financial support as required by other functions in the organization including business strategic initiatives
• Generating quarterly reports for the Board and Audit & Risk Committee meetings.
• Monitors and ensures compliance with IFRS
• Digitisation of various excel and labor-intensive reporting and forecast modeling tools and support the Companys digitization journey
• Assist the CFO to ensure sound financial management and controls are in place and continuedly improved
• Prepares financial reports, forecasts and budgets for the Chief Financial Officer to support the financial decision-making process
• Review of capital investments including IRR calculations
• Assist with the ad hoc requirements of the Chief Financial Officer
• Responsibilities include the preparation of consolidated financial accounts, establishing accounting policies/procedures, ensuring compliance of subsidiaries and/or divisions and group credit control

Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting / BCom Finance
• CA(SA)

Experience:

• Completed Articles
• 5 years post articles experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including IFRS
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
• Proficient report writing.
• Analytical, investigative, inquiring, rational, sound, systematic, logical and astute
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial modeling
