A key player in the chemical and polymer industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Group Financial Manager to join their dynamic team.Known as a prominent manufacturer of polyethylene and polypropylene in Southern Africa. Their commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence drives their success and industry leadership.

• Prepare financial reports, forecasts and budgets to support the financial decision-making process.
• Generate quarterly reports for the Board and Audit & Risk Committee meetings.
• Monitors and ensures compliance with IFRS.
• Digitisation of various excel and labour-intensive reporting and forecast modelling tools and support the companyxe2x80x99s digitisation journey.
• Be responsible for IFRS and other control improvement projects.
• Monitor and oversee the consolidated credit control function.
• Ensure compliance with the policies and procedures.
• Provide financial support as required by other functions in the organisation including business strategy initiatives.
• Review of capital investments including IRR calculations.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting
• BCom Honours
• CA(SA)

Experience:

• Completed SAICA Articles
• Must have at least 5 years managerial experience

Skills & Competencies:

• Must have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
• Exceptional planning and organizing skills.
• Agile and resilient in a high performing environment.
• Structured, disciplined, self-starter and driven.
• Personal resilience and toughness in maintaining standards.
• Must be a intercultural team player with very good communication skills across all levels as well as a strong convincing personality
