SUMMARY:

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of group financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
• Lead the consolidation process across multiple entities within the group, providing clear and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the business objectives.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the

team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. * Ensure adherence to financial controls, policies, and procedures across the group.

• Support the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient review.

Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting
• BCom Accounting Honours / CTA
• CA(SA)

Experience:

• Completed SAICA Articles
• Extensive experience in group financial reporting and consolidations.
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong technical accounting skills with knowledge of IFRS.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Cognos exposure would be a big plus!

Skills & Competencies:

• Deep understanding of group accounting and financial consolidation processes.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
