Job Description
Group Financial Manager. Experience in the construction industry. Knowledge of BuildSmart would be so advantageousJob description and main responsibilities The incumbent will take responsibility for the full financial function for 19 entities. This includes, but are not limited to the following:
- Management of accounting team of 5 employees consisting of Accountant, 2 creditors clerks, office clerk and the HR Practitioner.
- Board and Stakeholder reports
- Monthly Management Statements, and involvement and supervising of accounting team processing.
- Payroll system set-up, review and supervising of processing
- Preparation and submission of EMP201, EMP501, IRP5s, ETIs
- Preparation, submission and reconciliation of VAT
- SARS eFiling and SARS Easyfile
- Construction Guarantees
- Handling of insurance.
- Liaising with SARS, Bank, Auditors and Information Technology providers
- Audit file preparation
- BEE scorecard involvement
- Company Secretarial Duties
- Minimum educational level - SAIPA or CIMA qualification or CIBA registered
- Experience - minimum 10 _ 15 years.
- Tax Practitioner registration or experience in the role of tax practitioner.
- Experience in accounting in the Construction and Property Development industry will be advantageous.
- Experience/knowledge of the BuildSmart computer package will be an added advantage.
