Job Description
Parow region Junior Accountant needed for a Group function channelMAtric essential
2 Years experience in a financial accounting environment.
SAGE Evolution
Assist senior accountant in the preparation of group monthly/yearly closings.
Assist in the processing of group balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
Comply with group financial policies and regulations.
Ensure timely bank reconciliations and reporting.
Handle group daily, monthly, and annual closings.
Manage all group daily accounting transactions.
Manage trail balances, balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
Post and process journal entries to ensure all group business transactions are recorded.
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
Update group accounts payable transactions.
Update group VAT and PAYE reconciliations.
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
