Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned expert to take on the role of Group Lead: Organisation Design and Effectiveness (OD&E) to join the P&C team at CCBA. This role is for a visionary leader with a passion for optimising organisational structures and driving effective workforce planning.The successful applicant will be reporting into the Group Head: Organisational Effectiveness.CCBA is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Lead the enterprise Organisation design: Serve as a senior thought leader in the organisation on all aspects of (OD&E), including emerging operational models, organisational structures, and job architectures.Optimise workforce planning: Drive strategic workforce planning, ensuring our talent aligns with our growth and scaling objectives.Champion organisational culture: Reinforce and evolve our organisational culture by designing effective work structures and practices.Innovate and research: Continuously explore new organisational models and architectures, such as networks, scrums, and holarchies, to keep CCBA at the forefront of industry trends.M&A Expertise: Lead people and organisational work streams during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with CCBAs culture and objectives.Core Areas of Responsibility:Organisational Models & Structures: Develop and implement cutting-edge organisational models that support our business strategy.Capability Management: Establish frameworks for assessing and enhancing organisational capabilities.Job Architecture: Define and maintain job architectures, including job evaluation, grading, and profiling.Workforce Planning: Design and implement workforce planning strategies that align with future talent needs.Work Practices & Governance: Lead efforts to refine work practices, governance structures, and decision-making processes.Mergers & Acquisition Integration: Oversee the integration of new teams during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with CCBAs values.
Skills, Experience & EducationQualifications:Further degree (Honours or Masters) in Industrial Psychology, Human Resources or Organisational Development.Experience:12 to 14 years experience in a Human Resources corporate or consulting environment with at least 6 years focused on working in one or more Organisational Development / Organisational Effectiveness domains.Expertise in OD&E: A deep understanding of organisational design, job architectures, and workforce planning, with a proven track record of driving large-scale organisational transformations.Thought Leadership: A continuous learner who stays ahead of emerging trends and can lead the enterprise in adopting new organisational models and practices.Strategic Vision: The ability to align organisational structures and workforce strategies with the overall business objectives.Collaboration & Influence: A strong communicator who can engage with senior leaders, influence decision-making, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
