Ensure the company understands Telco regulations in countries that it offers Telco services - Timely, professional advice
Discuss and correspond with in-Country Regulators where required - Protect the company from legal action
Engage in-country attorneys where required, to determine how to keep the company legally compliant in each country - Business sustainability and risk mitigation
Assess regulatory risk per country and communicate to CFO/Exco - Identify legally and commercially compliant solutions
Manage BBBEE scorecard
Ensure up to date knowledge of BBBEE legislation - Achieve and maintain agreed BBBEE Level for the company
Assist CFO to design legal structures and agreements that maximize the Companys BBBEE rating - Provide guidance on implementation of BBBEE strategy and manage implementation
Management Reporting
Develop a risk register highlighting legal and commercial risks within the Company. - Accurate feedback - Escalate to CFO and Exco when appropriate
