This company is looking for a skilled Chartered Accountant to take their finance function to the next level . This opportunity will be reporting to the Group Finance Manager. This company operated across 20 countries such as Africa and the Middle East to name a few. The incumbent will be tasked with financial analysis, cost reduction, management of funds, risk mitigation and ensure adequate control structures are in place.Responsibilities:
- Oversee trial balances and management packs.
- Process transactions on SAGE.
- Ensure audit completion, AFS sign-off, and IFRS compliance.
- Ensure legal and procedural compliance.
- Control income, cash flow, and expenditure.
- Develop and manage financial systems and models.
- Conduct business modelling and risk assessments.
- Prepare and monitor the company budget.
- Report on budget variances and their causes.
- Perform cost reduction analyses.
- Review management accounts, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Compile and report key business metrics.
- Conduct additional analyses and reports as needed.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
- CA(SA) accreditation is essential
- IFRS experience is essential
- 3 to 5 years commercial experience
- Group level experience is essential
