A very well-established national manufacturing company is looking for a xe2x80x98xe2x80x99Group Managing Directorxe2x80x99xe2x80x99to join their team on a full-time permanent basis at their premises in the Helderberg Area, CT.We are looking for a Group Managing Director to supervise and control all strategic and businessaspects of the company.The goal is to drive the companyxe2x80x99s development and guide it towards long-term success.The ideal candidate will have a business mindset, will be able to see the xe2x80x9cbig picturexe2x80x9d in a variety of settings and take actions to enhance the companyxe2x80x99s financial performance while keeping the human factor in perspective.Salary: R135 000 per month, negotiable. Position Responsibilities:Formulating and implementing the strategic plan of the organisation.Overseeing all operational, marketing and sales functions of the organisation.Monitoring and ensuring the success of the organisation.Making high-quality investment decisions.Enforcing adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies.Reviewing financial and non-financial reports.Building trust relations with key partners and stakeholders.Maintaining awareness of the competitive market landscape.Ensuring that the organisation maintains high social responsibility wherever it does business.Assess, monitor, and minimize risks to the organisation. Position Requirements:Proven experience as General Manager or Managing Director.Experience in developing profitable strategies.Strong understanding of operational excellence, corporate finance, and performancemanagement principles.Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance etc.In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.Engineering qualification and qualification in business administration will be beneficial.
