GROUT PLANT BATCH CONTROLLER
Job specification
Grade 11 or equivalent qualification
2-3 years' experience in a grout plant environment would be advantageous
Previous experience as a Batch Controller, Plant Operator, or similar role in construction, mining, or industrial operations.
Strong understanding of grout mixing processes and quality control standards. Ability to operate batching control systems and troubleshoot minor technical issues. Good mathematical and analytical skills. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in English and any other of the 11 official languages Interpersonal communication skills are required and essential Must be able to take instructions and communicate over a two-way radio Must be willing to work shifts Must be able to work under pressure South African Citizenship Clear Criminal RecordResponsibilities
Operate and control grout batching systems to ensure proper mix ratios. Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality. Conduct routine equipment checks and report any mechanical issues. Maintain detailed batch records, production logs, and quality control documentation. Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations. Collaborate with plant operators and supervisors to optimize efficiency. Manage inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate replenishments as needed. Manage and maintain in area of responsibility following mine standards, procedures and practices * Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1's safety motto:
