Role: Go To Market Strategy & Ops ManagerLocation: Remote within South AfricaDepartment: MarketingAbout the RoleAt Nivoda, we are not just growing; we are scaling at an unprecedented pace. As the Head of Strategy, you will be shaping our voice in the market and increasing awareness and trust of the Nivoda brand.You will be the driving force behind our company story and market presence, owning and executing the strategy for the brand message and design, web experience, content, social media, and PR and influencer marketing. This is a high visibility role requiring a mix of strategy, creativity, and execution.What You'll Do:Define Our Brand Strategy and StoryDefine and continuously evolve the company's brand and story across our marketplace and retail tools to reflect the growing Nivoda portfolioCreate consistent messaging and strategy to speak to the different Nivoda audiences, including jewellers, diamond and gemstone suppliers, and consumersEnsure a strong and cohesive visual identity across all marketing and brand assets, including managing external design resources to produce high-quality creative workOptimise our Website for Engagement and ConversionOptimise the strategy, content, and user experience of the Nivoda websiteContinuously monitor and update the Nivoda website for SEO performance and inbound opportunity conversionOwn Nivoda Market PresenceDevelop and oversee a content strategy that solidifies Nivoda's place as the market leaderCreate value add content such as blogs, podcasts, videos, and more for every stage of the marketing funnelBuild and execute a proactive third party validation strategy to enhance brand credibility, including cultivating relationships and creating content with media representatives and key industry influencersDevelop a social media strategy that drives brand awareness and engagementManage External ResourcesOversee and act as the primary liaison between Nivoda and external agencies, freelancers, and consultants across the above initiativesEnsure all external resources align with brand messaging, business goals, and quality standardsNegotiate contracts, manage budgets, and track performance to maximize ROIBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing or a related field5+ years of experience in brand strategy or marketing leadershipProven track record of building and growing a multi faceted brand portfolioProven track record of managing internal and external resources to hit business goalsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in luxury goods, marketplaces, or the diamond industryFamiliarity with B2B, B2C, and marketplace marketing strategiesExcellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionallyCompetencies:Strong viewpoint on how brand-building principles enhance performance marketing tactics and sales opportunity creationAbility to balance strategic planning with tactical executionStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challengesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentWhat Nivoda Offers:Fast-paced and multinational working environment.Collaboration with global teams offering diverse experiences and perspectives.The opportunity to be part of a hyper-growth scale-up.Flexibility with remote working.Generous holiday allowance.Medical aid through Discovery
