Job Summary Candidate requirements and duties:

  • MUST be a Mozambican National (non-negotiable)
  • Must have previous experience in a similar position in a luxury lodge/hotel environment
  • Must be hands-on, proactive and able to lead and motivate a team
  • Must communicate daily with Villa Management regarding operations and guest plans
  • Have excellent hosting skills and be guest-centric
  • Assist General Management in optimising guest experience and satisfaction, while managing profitability and targets
  • Orchestrate and manage guest activities
  • Retrieve guest feedback and strategise improvements with General Management
  • Communicate regularly with the Reservations team to gather necessary information before guest arrival and manage guest expectations by advising on changes or special requests
  • Maintain flexibility and standards across departments to meet guest needs
  • Conduct room checks and manage the housekeeping department
  • Must have excellent stock control knowledge
  • Prepare orders for General Management authorisation
  • Frequently inspect the property, address issues, and track progress
  • Assist Villa Managers in managing all HODs in their daily operations per company procedures
  • Create social media content
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and fire regulations throughout the property
Live-in Position with meals on duty.
Working hours: Flexible with 6 days off per month
