Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their hair needs, preferences, and lifestyle.
Hair Texture Knowledge: Demonstrate expertise in working with various hair textures, including but not limited to:
1. African American hair (relaxed, natural, braided)
2. Caucasian hair (fine, medium, coarse)
3. Multicultural hair (biracial, mixed texture)
Chemical Processing: Perform chemical processing services, such as relaxers, perms, and color treatments, with caution and attention to detail.
Hair Extension and Braiding: Offer hair extension and braiding services, including but not limited to:
1. Weft installations
2. Micro-link extensions
3. Box braids
4. Senegalese twists
Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all sanitation and safety protocols.
Client Retention: Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other stylists and salon staff to achieve salon goals and objectives.Requirements of the Spa & Recreation Specialist:Licensure: Possess a valid cosmetology license in [State/Province].
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a licensed hairdresser, with a focus on ethnic and Caucasian hair textures.
Education: Completion of a state-approved cosmetology program.Skills :-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.Certifications:- Certifications in specialized areas, such as hair extensions, braiding, or color correction, are highly desirable.Physical Demands:Standing: Stand for long periods, up to 8 hours.
