Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and trustworthy caretaker to manage the maintenance and daily operations of our building / Complex, to perform minor handyman tasks. This is a full-time on-site position with accommodation provided.
Key Responsibilities:
General Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct routine inspections and perform general maintenance tasks, including minor repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, doors, windows, painting and structural elements. Ensure that all complex area (outdoor) are functioning properly.
Maintenance: Oversee daily cleaning and general maintenance of the building.
Groundskeeping: Manage the upkeep of outdoor areas, including lawns, gardens, and walkways.
Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with tenants and property management.
Location & Work Environment:
- This is a full-time on-site position located at Kew / Lyndhurst. The caretaker will be provided with a room to stay in the building.
Salary
- To begin with, the salary will be R4000 per month. Once we are satisfied with performance, there will be an increase to R6500 per month.
