The above-mentioned position is available in Infrastructure & Facilities Management (IFM) Department. The purpose of the job is to assist Maintenance Officer to Perform preventative and maintenance tasks of all Built spaces (the entire site, including the securing of unused buildings and precincts the roads and built structures;), on a regular basis.Duties And Responsibilities:Carry out day to day maintenance repairs of the Built Environment and ensure that quality of works of the following systems is adhered to.Building Maintenance, Plumbing, Electrical or Carpentry Maintain Records of all calls logged and of all materials used. Assist with the implementation of special projects within the department. Conduct Inspections and Condition assessments. Carry out any other ad hoc urgent duties as assigned that affect operations. Respond to urgent maintenance calls logged by residents and staff on Facilities Maintenance. Submit photo documentation of maintenance works done to Unit ManagerMatricAppropriate, valid certificate or proof of work experience as HandymanWork Experience:Minimum of 3 years experience in handyman work Basic Knowledge of Building, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Glazing and painting and repair procedures. Ability to use power tools Ability to read and write Attention to detail Drivers licence will be an added advantage.
