A Luxury Tented Safari Camp is looking for a HEAD CHEF to join their teamPOSITION INFO:
Nestled in the majestic Makhonjwa Mountains near Badplaas, Mpumalanga, offers a luxury safari experience in one of South Africaxe2x80x99s most biodiverse regions. Known as the xe2x80x9cplace of water,xe2x80x9d the reserve is home to the Big Five, ancient rock formations, and breathtaking landscapes. Guests stay in beautifully appointed, tented suites along the Komati River, combining comfort with immersive nature. From guided game drives and fly-fishing to stargazing and spa treatments. This place blends adventure with relaxation. Itxe2x80x99s a hidden gem where wildlife, history, and tranquility come together in perfect harmony.Candidate requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in a luxury setting
- Formal kitchen qualification preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Impeccable safety and hygiene practices both personally and in the kitchen
- Menu planning and costing experience
- The ability to train and uplift staff
- Excellent stock management experience
- Responsible for all ordering
- Day to day kitchen operations
This is a live-in role with all meals, uniform & provident fund.
