Private Game Reserve in the heart of Limpopo is looking for a HEAD CHEFCandidate requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years senior or Head Chef experience at
4/5* Lodge.
Matric and any relevant tertiary culinary qualifications.
Computer literate and good proficiency in MS Office
Reliable and motivated candidate
The ability to do menu development and costings
Proficient in all culinary methods needed to present minimum standard menu's
The ability to ensure that the highest level of standard is maintained at all times
Excellent stock control, management of orders and produce
Ability to manage & oversee all aspects of the kitchen
operations, including management of resources, i.e., gas, water,
electricity, etc.
Good financial acumen required for controls, budgeting &
procurement requirements.
The ability to manage and train staff in an uplifting and positive manner.
Monitor food standards and hold high standards of hygiene.
Valid drivers License & own transport is advised.
Must have good leadership skills.
Strong attention to detail.
