RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced HEAD CHEF / KITCHEN MANAGER for a large growing concern, position based in the Midlands area, KwaZulu-Natal.REQUIREMENTSGrade 12.Relevant Culinary qualification or equivalent experience.Valid drivers license / own reliable vehicle.Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).4+ yrs working experience in a supervisory role within a food services environment.Knowledge of grilling, baking and batch cooking is essential.Supervisory management.Manage a busy kitchen which involves; running every day service, running a team of 16 cooks, keeping the level of food produced at a high and consistence standard.Food costing / costing of dishes and purchasing.Stock taking and ordering.Understand the importance of the hygiene in the kitchen and why it needs to be kept clean.Management of rosters such as bin duty, cleaning duty, extra shifts will also fall under the Head Chef.Person must have a passion for food, a team player and visionary.Willing to bring new ideas to the table and be inspired to produce new dishes.Salary package offered: - To be discussedPLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE THE RELEVANT EXPERIENCE / ONLY SUITABLE CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED.IMPORTANTPLEASE APPLY FOR THIS POSITION VIA OUR WEBSITE (WWW.REDCATRECRUITMENT.CO.ZA)
