SUMMARY:
A High-End Luxury Safari Lodge is looking for a talented and driven HEAD CHEFPOSITION INFO:
This lodge offers an authentic African safari experience in the heart of the Greater Kruger National Park. With a focus on luxury and conservation, the lodge provides intimate, spacious accommodations including tented chalets and luxury suites, all overlooking the serene Timbavati River. Guests can enjoy thrilling game drives, bush walks, and exceptional birdwatching, with frequent sightings of the Big Five. The lodges tranquil atmosphere, combined with world-class service and gourmet dining, ensures an unforgettable stay.Candidate Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Head Chef in a luxury lodge environment.
• Culinary degree or equivalent qualifications from a recognised institution.
• Strong creativity and passion for culinary arts, with a focus on diverse cuisines and modern cooking techniques.
• Must be able and experienced in using ice cream machines, pressure cookers, sous vide machines etc.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of local and international food trends, sustainable practices, and dietary preferences.
• Good knowledge of planning, budgeting, and departmental administration.
• Excellent attention to detail, excellent hygiene principles.
• Team player with positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional control.
• Excellent time management and self-discipline, interpersonal & problem-solving skills.

Live in position including meals and uniform.
Leave cycle 6 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
