Job Description


Candidate Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification
  • Proven experience in a Fine Dining kitchen
  • Experience managing staff and leading a team
  • The ability to provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to produce excellent quality work unsupervised
  • Excellent stock control capabilities
  • Experience in staff scheduling and cleaning rosters
  • Excellent Food Safety knowledge and the ability to ensure this is implemented and followed
  • Capable of taking over in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Excellent communication skills, especially inter-departmental to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and service
  • Quick to think and problem solve
