Candidate Requirements:

Tertiary Qualification
Proven experience in a Fine Dining kitchen
Experience managing staff and leading a team
The ability to provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment
The ability to produce excellent quality work unsupervised
Excellent stock control capabilities
Experience in staff scheduling and cleaning rosters
Excellent Food Safety knowledge and the ability to ensure this is implemented and followed
Capable of taking over in the absence of the Executive Chef
Excellent communication skills, especially inter-departmental to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and service
Quick to think and problem solve
