Requirements



Bachelor Degree in the engineering (BSc Eng or BEng) or

quantity surveying fields



A Master's Degree will be advantageous Professional registration: Pr.Eng with ECSA or PrQS with

SACQSP



Registration with other relevant professional bodies in the

built environment or project management space will be



advantageous.



8 years' relevant experience post qualification Proficiency in the use of: Design and quantity take-off

software, Autodesk Design Suite, MS Project/ Primavera



P6 and Microsoft Office.



A Valid driver's licence

To provide independent, specialised, technical engineering

advisory services to support City project and contract



management teams in key design, specification, contract



and risk management considerations.



To drive design excellence (Improved value for money,

risk reduction).



To improve timeous project delivery and benefits realisation,

driven from a planning perspective



To improve collaboration between Departments/ Directorates,

where standardised and improved design opportunities exist
