  • Review agency communication strategies, amplification strategies, creative big idea concepts and ensure these align with the business, media and brand objectives
  • Evaluate market research to identify opportunities and trends and using data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Leading and developing a diverse marketing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and upskilling.
  • Foster close working relationships Executives, Marketing Leads and Centres of Excellence
  • Identify, plan and prepare submissions for industry awards as well as Nedbank internal awards - in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Provide input into various reports such as Manco reports etc. and Post Campaign Analysis (PCA)
  • Managing the creative agency relationships, evaluations and Radar program and SLA Management
People SpecificationEssential Qualifications: Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification: Post graduate degree in Marketing or Commerce
Minimum Experience Level: 5 - 8 years management in a marketing or related functionEssential Skills:
  • Leadership and Management: Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire the strategic marketing team.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and review long-term plans and Agency proposals.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Ability to assess the creative big concepts and media proposals line with the business/mission strategy and ensure that all our marketing is bold and standout.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and measure the effectiveness of campaign strategies.
