Job Purpose
To craft, execute and evaluate Marketing strategies; managing a discipline of the Marketing function and integration of the Marketing processes; services; resources and deliverables to enable Nedbank to deliver on its business strategy. Review agency communication strategies, amplification strategies, creative big idea concepts and ensure these align with the business, media and brand objectives
Evaluate market research to identify opportunities and trends and using data to inform strategic decisions.
Leading and developing a diverse marketing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and upskilling.
Foster close working relationships Executives, Marketing Leads and Centres of Excellence
Identify, plan and prepare submissions for industry awards as well as Nedbank internal awards - in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
Provide input into various reports such as Manco reports etc. and Post Campaign Analysis (PCA)
Managing the creative agency relationships, evaluations and Radar program and SLA Management
People Specification
Essential Qualifications:
Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification:
Post graduate degree in Marketing or Commerce
Minimum Experience Level:
5 - 8 years management in a marketing or related function
Essential Skills: Leadership and Management: Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire the strategic marketing team.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and review long-term plans and Agency proposals.
Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Creativity and Innovation: Ability to assess the creative big concepts and media proposals line with the business/mission strategy and ensure that all our marketing is bold and standout.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and measure the effectiveness of campaign strategies.
