The Role:
As a Head of Business Development, you will spearhead the growth of their solar division, identifying new market opportunities and forging strategic partnerships. This is a senior leadership role, perfect for a high-performing business development professional with deep industry knowledge, exceptional networking skills, and a passion for renewable energy. You will play a pivotal role in shaping their growth strategy, driving sales, and expanding their footprint in the solar energy market.Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Design and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth in our solar energy offerings across specific regions/markets.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities, from utility-scale projects to commercial and industrial solar solutions.
  • Partnerships & Alliances: Build and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, utility companies, investors, and corporate clients.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead a high-performing sales team, setting ambitious targets and ensuring they are met or exceeded.
  • Project Development: Collaborate with the technical, finance, and operations teams to create competitive project proposals that meet clients' needs and maximize profitability.
  • Market Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to ensure we remain a leader in the solar sector.
  • Revenue Growth: Take ownership of revenue targets, driving profitable growth and contributing to the overall success of the company.
