ROLE SUMMARY:

To adopt an aspirant view to students in their care, promoting the progress and well-being of individuals and of any class, team or group assigned to them. Under their guidance our students will become Interested and Interesting. To design and lead an age appropriate, scaled learning programme that develops players and teams for high performance learning and play

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Meet and manage all safeguarding protocols and policies Manage all Water Polo teams, coaches, fixtures, events and supporting logistics Support Sports admin during the winter season Coach at least one Reddam team - therein to plan, prepare and present engaging sessions Teach three GET phase Education classes Teach two GET phase Sports Science classes To be a Tutor teacher, ensuring effective pastoral care for a group of students Attend relevant Reddam sports tours as either the coach or manager Support the development of a Sports' department striving for best practice Serve the community Behave in a professional manner with regard to punctuality, behaviour, and standards of work Consistently evaluate, reflect on and develop their and our practice To undertake any other reasonable tasks that the School Heads / Heads of Sport determine

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Able to set clear expectations and stretching goals Adaptable style that drives for high performance Ability to judge learning effectiveness Excellent preparation and planning Assessment of student outcomes to enhance performance The ability to engage and 'interest' children A minimum of 3 years' experience in Sport administration / leadership The ability to contribute to a high performing team Outstanding commitment to action and realising objectives Excellence in communication - clear, concise, and consistent Strategic competency in using word, excel, google docs and classroom A commitment to advancing the capability of the adults under their care A commitment to advancing the capability of themselves SACE accreditation.
