As the Head of Credit, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Implement credit risk strategies to optimize portfolio performance
Provide guidance to a team of credit analysts
Ensure exceptional performance and growth
Monitor performance and provide ways to improve certain measures
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Proactively stay up to date with credit scoring models, risk assessments and techniques
Conduct in-depth analysis of trends across the industry
Keep up to date with economic factors and all credit related risks
Oversee the credit underwriting process
Ensure that loans are extended responsiblySkills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
Strong understanding of credit products and other financial services
Extensive knowledge of credit regulations and compliance requirements
Proven experience in credit risk management, underwriting and portfolio management
Strategic mindset with the ability to drive innovative credit solutionsQualification:
Relevant Bachelors degree (Finance, Accounting)
