A global leader in heavy-duty slurry pump design, manufacturing, and assembly is looking for a dynamic Head of Operations to lead its South African division. Reporting to the General Manager and Head of Global Operations, this role demands a hands-on leader with expertise in rotating equipment, supply chain management, and large-scale manufacturing. Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Oversee logistics, procurement, warehousing, quality control, health & safety, and product assembly.
• Drive operational efficiency to meet monthly invoicing and billing targets.
• Ensure that profit margins through cost-effective procurement and supply chain management.
• Maintain strict health & safety compliance, facility maintenance, and asset certification.
• Implement quality control measures, aiming for zero complaints or returns.
• Manage stock control and warehouse operations with precision.
• Extensive technical experience in rotating equipment, ideally pumps.
• Background in ore processing plants and EPC project houses is advantageous.
• Proven ability to scale and manage multi-disciplinary manufacturing operations (100-200 employees).
• Expertise in ERP systems (Syspro, SAP), Labour Relations Act, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and leadership skills to drive business growth.
• Experience managing international suppliers and operations across multiple regions.
