Job Description
Our client, a long-standing retail nursery is looking for a Head of Sales to join their team.The purpose of this role is to develop new markets and manage all aspects of sales from receiving orders through to transporting product to customers.Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of Sales Management experience.
- Agriculture experience advantageous.
- Team management experience.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships with clients.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast- paced environment.
- Pastel experience advantageous.
- Computer literate
- Driver's license
- Willingness to travel.
- Processes orders for timeous delivery.
- Maintains and update the photo catalogue and website.
- Manages the activities of agents and representatives.
- Liaises with customers and networks with other players in the industry.
- Liaises with propagation and production departments.
- Managing existing clients.
- Managing a team of nationally based Sales Representatives.
- Attending of roadshows.
- Excellent communication skills
