SUMMARY:
Our client based within the Cape Winelands area in the Food and Beverage industry is seeking axc3x82 Head of Development and Application (Sub-Sahara Africa) to lead their development and application teams.POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• Minimum 8 yearsxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99 experience in a global application department, preferably within the ingredients or flavours industry.
• Minimum of 5 yearsxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99 in a management role.

• Develop and execute strategies aligned with overall company objectives.
• Build and lead a skilled, motivated team and oversee technical and managerial aspects, including performance evaluations and personnel decisions, in collaboration with

. * Ensure effective management of all team members, both directly and indirectly.

• Establish and maintain effective communication channels within your team and with other departments.
• Regularly standardize and enhance processes and organizational structures to ensure continuous improvement across your area of responsibility.
• Drive digital initiatives by creating and implementing a comprehensive digitization strategy.
• Utilize new technologies to enhance business value and optimize existing and new processes within digital systems.
• Plan and manage human, material, and financial resources.
• Monitor and adhere to budgets, addressing any discrepancies as needed in coordination with management.
• Develop and enforce internal regulations, ensuring adherence to all relevant standards and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Define and implement efficient processes for internal IT systems, ensuring their effective operation and proper documentation.
• Managing and developing application within the group ensuring optimum and satisfactory customer support.
• Coordinate with sales and R&D teams to address business issues, market trends, and product portfolios.
