Explore new opportunities today!We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance Assurance (Short-term Insurance) to lead our Finance/VAT compliance audits, due diligence processes, and internal financial reviews. If you have a strong audit background, sharp analytical skills, and a passion for financial controls, this role is for you.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust Finance/VAT assurance framework.
- Conduct audits and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
- Ensure timely resolution and closure of audit findings.
- Enhance audit methodologies and improve working papers.
- Assess internal controls and IT systems of prospective clients.
- Identify control gaps and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Present audit findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Oversee internal financial reviews and drive process automation.
- Collaborate with business partners to strengthen financial governance.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) (SA) qualification required.
- 4 years + short term Insurance industry experience (outside of audit) is preferred.
